An Artsy Day
Hello again! My day has been filled with an Art Festival, a lot of fun, with my boyfriend and a good friend. But let me start from the beginning of the day.
Every morning I wake up wanting to do something productive, my mind is always racing. This morning I made my first business journal entry in my “Adventures in Letterpress” (at least that is what I am calling it.) It is enclosed in a durable journal I can carry in any of my purses, unless I am carrying around a very small one for some reason. I love Target, have I ever mentioned that? Anyway, I splurged a little bit and got myself a pretty journal that will last me. I used one of them on my senior project and it worked very well for me, if only they made more varieties of them.
I also spent my morning talking about how I am going to learn how to properly swim, and swim for exercise. I am excited about it, part of me feels like I may totally suck at it. However I know it will be a good work out and totally worth putting time into now while I am still young. One day I may not be able to run anymore, but I would still be able to swim, easy on the joints. So I spent some time researching and even trying on swim suits made for swimming, not the pretty kind. So soon I will be investing in about a $30 swim suit where I will find a new exercise that I will hopefully love. I have not been doing so well with my diet and losing weight plan. I sort of got off track when I lost my job, and then the weather decided to turn back into winter. It SNOWED last week and its almost May! Insane! So I am getting myself back onto my plan of getting myself into shape. I have decided if I need to go back home for some time during my unemployment I will spend my extra time exercising. It will keep my sane to a point to deal with being so far apart from my other half, who he truly is to me.
After that I went to TJMAXX for the first time ever, and I was pleasantly surprised. As I get older I am getting more and more into fashion. It also helps that I am learning a lot from being apart of the ModCloth Street Squad on facebook, you have to apply to sign up, but it has changed a lot for me. It has also made facebook much more enjoyable.
I did not share this awesome Thift Store find from a few weeks ago. I almost did not buy it because it was not half off, but a close to $100 coat for $7 I think was worth it. Also it is my favorite color and has big cute buttons :).

To end my day I went to Lewisburg Arts Festival. There were a lot of vendors, a lot of pottery. I love pottery, when I have a home it will be filled with some. I always love seeing artists at art festivals and I feel like one day, I could be one of those people. I could sell photographic prints, or little screen printed or letterpressed cards and bookmarks. One day. I also ate a lot of fair food that was not good for me at all. Haha, sometimes you just need to let go and live life. I was recommended to watch Food Matters, I plan to do that later today. Supposedly I will want to eat healthier, which will be the right kind of motivation for me.
